Hogan Encourages Marylanders to Test for COVID-19

Maryland’s key COVID-19 health metrics continue to trend in a positive direction, with the statewide positivity rate dropping to 5.81%, and current total hospitalizations at their lowest level in 73 days.  On Wednesday, the Maryland Department of Health began operating a free COVID-19 testing site at the Baltimore Convention Center. Testing at the Convention Center site will occur on Wednesdays and Fridays between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m—weather permitting—and does not require a doctor’s order. Governor Larry Hogan continues to encourage all Marylanders to get tested for COVID-19, particularly those who are in or around vulnerable populations or who have recently attended large gatherings…
