Maryland’s Republican governor is praising the seven GOP senators who voted to convict former President Donald Trump during his second impeachment trial. The governor, a frequent critic of Trump, made the rounds on Sunday’s national news programs to discuss the impeachment process. He said he was proud of those Republican senators who showed the courage to cross party lines by voting to convict Trump. He says although Trump may feel vindicated by the Senate choosing not to convict, the general population will see it differently…
