Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is inching closer to making a decision to run for president in 2024. Maryland Matters reports that Hogan held a reception last week for top donors and supporters to talk about his prospects and a timetable for deciding whether to run for the Republican nomination for president in two years. After visiting the Iowa State Fair in August, Hogan will speak about bipartisanship at the Harvard School of Government on Wednesday, and, once again, attend the politics and eggs breakfast in New Hampshire on Thursday. Although there are all signs pointing to a presidential run, publicly the governor insists he won't make a decision until after he leaves office in January..
