House Minority Leader Buckel said it far too early to gauge how Western Maryland fare under the new Wes Moore administration

During an appearance on WCBC’s ‘Dave Norman Show”, House Minority Leader Jason Buckel said it far too early to gauge how Western Maryland will fare  under the new Wes Moore administration. Moore, a Democrat, will be sworn in as Maryland’s new governor in ceremonies next week in Annapolis. Allegany and Garrett counties are heavily Republican and both overwhelming supported Dan Cox over Moore in the November election. Democratic governors have a mixed record when it comes to  the region ranging from William Donald Schaefer who became known as Western Maryland’s best friend; to Martin O’Malley who rarely visited the area during his 8 years. Buckel, sworn in to a third term this week, hopes to see Moore include the region as part of his priorities…
