Maryland House Republicans issued a response to Governor Moore’s plans for energy rebates on utility bills. House Minority Leader Jason Buckel said there was nothing at all new in the announcement with Democrats placing the blame on energy companies and PJM. The $80 rebate will do little to offset the hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars Maryland’s families pay in high energy bills. House Minority Whip Jesse Pippy said what is unfair is having Marylanders pay for the Democrats failed green energy policies.
