Maryland Governor Wes Moore has announced appointments to the District 5 Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission that covers Allegany and Garrett Counties. The commission’s role is to advertise judicial vacancies, seek candidates and evaluate applicants for open positions. Those appointed include local attorneys Christopher Logsdon, Donald Goldbloom, Matt Gilmore, Jayci Duncan, and Elizabeth Lamm. Other appointees include were Mary Jane O’Rourke, Joan Leatherman, and Victor Rezendez.
