Jay Lowder of Harvest Ministries in Texas was the guest speaker at the annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast on Thursday morning at the Ali-Ghan Shrine Club. Established in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, the National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May that brings together all faiths and traditions to pray for the nation.
