Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate over $174 million in revenue from slot machines and table games in July, down 4% from the previous year total of $181 million. Casino gaming contributions to the state on that $174 million totaled $73.1 million, also down from July of last year.  Contributions to the Education Trust Fund for the month were $52.7 million. Gaming revenues also support the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are located, the state’s horseracing industry, and minority- and women-owned businesses. Rocky Gap Casino and Resort has 626 slot machines and 16 table games. For July, the resort generated $5.8 million in revenue.
