Allegany County benefits greatly from state programs, according to County Commissioner Creade Brodie. Brodie told WCBC News that after 13 years in office he has seen the county reap millions of dollars in support.
One of the biggest infrastructure projects in Western Maryland is currently under construction in Locust Grove near the Narrows. Brodie told WCBC News that the $30 million project is a pumping station for sewage.
