Steve Luse, the former sports editor of the Cumberland Times-News, died Monday at UPMC Western Maryland at the age of 79.  Luse worked at the newspaper from 1972-2014 and was renowned for his coverage of the Allegany College Trojans of Hall of Fame Coach Bob Kirk.  A native of York, PA, Luse received his degree in journalism from West Virginia University.  The Upchurch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be at Central Assembly on Bedford Road Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services at 1 p.m.
