On 8/7/22 at 1503 hours TFC Hook from the McHenry Barrack stopped a 2010 Saturn Vue passenger vehicle, in Friendsville, Maryland, for the driver not being restrained by a seatbelt. The driver of the vehicle, Jimmie Dale Friend II (34 YOA) of Friendsville, MD, attempted to elude the Trooper before he came to a stop. Upon contacting the driver, TFC Hook observed drug paraphernalia in plain view, inside the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of fentanyl, heroin and methamphetamine along with additional CDS paraphernalia. As a result, Friend was charged with possession of CDS Not Marijuana, Possession of CDS paraphernalia and numerous traffic violations. Also charged was a passenger in the vehicle, Lesily Eileen Wooster (26 YOA) of Markleysburg, PA. Wooster was also charged with possession of CDS Not Marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Both subjects were subsequently taken before the District Court Commissioner and released pending trial.
