Property acquisitions, including a parcel on Fayette Street to facilitate the renovation of the Fayette Street bridge, were topics of discussions behind closed doors Tuesday afternoon as the Cumberland Mayor and City Council met in executive session. No public session was held. In other city news, the mask mandate that had been in place at City Hall has been lifted as COVID-19 numbers are continuing to decline- with mask wearing now suggested, but not required.
