The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will meet in public session beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room of City Hall on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, for the purpose of immediately closing the meeting to discuss the assignment, reassignment and performance of particular employees, the changes to the Code and Charter that could be necessary to effect the assignment and reassignment of those employees, and to obtain the advice of the City Solicitor regarding those and related matters.
Authority to close the session is provided by Section 3-305(b)(1) and (7) of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
The Open Work Session will then begin at 5:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room.
The Mayor and City Council's regularly scheduled Public Meeting will be held at 6:15 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
