Senator Mike McKay has become the new chair of the Fire/EMS Coalition in the Maryland General Assembly. The Coalition unites Republicans and Democrats in support of fire/emergency services legislation that benefit all first responders. McKay takes over from PG County Delegate Marvin Holmes who held the position since 2018. McKay’s election to the position was unanimous from the various Fire and EMS organizations that work with the Coalition.
