A group of 50 state senators recently traveled to Israel as part of the “50 States – One Israel” conference. Senator Mike McKay along with others from Maryland were part of the delegation that visited several sites, including the Supernova festival location connected to the war with Hamas…

   

“Really, really got a perspective on Israel, a perspective on the war that was started by Hamas. We then had the opportunity to go by the Nova memorial site and Nova was on October 7th two years ago that was when Hamas invaded Israel through the tunnels.”

McKay said he also had the chance to visit part of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem…

   

“So I had the opportunity to go put a prayer at the Western Wall. So personally that was very, very touching.”
