MD Superintendent Predicts Enrollment Will Return to Pre-Pandemic Levels

Maryland public schools may be in need of even more state money, as a decrease in enrollment could impact funding. But state school Superintendent Karen Salmon says she is sticking to her belief that it's temporary. The new enrollment numbers are tied directly to the Coronavirus with many parents said the pandemic has forced them to look for other education options for their children.
