Governor Wes Moore has left the states for a trade mission to Japan and South Korea. It is his first official trade mission though he has traveled overseas previously to look for businesses to invest in the state.  Through his social media channels, the Governor presented his hopes for the mission…

   

“We’ll meet with businesses like Hitachi who are helping us to write the next chapter on Maryland transportation. And Wallenius Wilhemsen who helps manage operations at the Port of Baltimore. This trip will help Maryland to stand on its own two feet by continuing to diversify our economy through industries of the future like quantum and life sciences and AI.”
