Governor Patrick Morrisey addressed a reporter’s question in Charleston about Medicaid cuts that would be harmful to West Virginians. He referred to the cuts as being “fake news,” saying that the state will be getting at least $500 million dollars that will help diffuse any cuts, thanks to the federal spending bill’s Rural Health Transformation Program…
“That’s significant, and I think those investments can make a big difference so that we don’t have to see some of the changes at the back end that people are projecting. So, that’s why it is fake news to be trying to scare people with the dollar amounts that are out there.”
