At approximately 2:30 a.m., Friday morning, emergency officials were dispatched to the area of Fatkin Lane in Vale Summit for a motor vehicle crash. According to Allegany County Emergency Management, a truck traveling on Interstate 68 eastbound crashed over the guardrail near the Clarysville Bridge and went into the woods. The vehicle iniitially was reported on fire, with one medical transport from the scene. Maryland State Police is currently investigating.
