Beginning today, February 12th, vehicular traffic may access downtown via South Centre Street from Pershing Street, traffic will then be directed EAST onto Baltimore Street and then exit onto George Street. Additional short-term parking will also be provided on Baltimore Street near the intersection with Centre Street.
Closed Street's
South Liberty Street between Pershing Street and Baltimore Street, Baltimore Street between Liberty Street and Centre Street, North Centre Street between Baltimore Street and Frederick Street, and North Liberty Street between Baltimore Street and Frederick Street. Pedestrian access will still be maintained in these areas. Signage will be in place to notify passenger vehicles about the road closures and new traffic pattern. Please see the attached diagram for additional information on the traffic pattern change.
This closure and temporary traffic pattern will remain in effect until May 3, 2024.
