Preliminary engineering work for a wider Route 90 corridor is underway.
Roughly a year after introducing the results of a Planning and Environmental Linkages study, Maryland State Highway Administration officials are moving on to the preliminary engineering phase of a planned redevelopment of the road. Media Relations Manager Shanteé Felix said public meetings will be held later this year as the administration proceeds with a National Environmental Policy Act study.
