On 03/12/2024 at approximately 2:00 PM an officer from the Cumberland City Police Department observed a traffic violation on Park Street. The officer initiated a traffic stop and requested a Cumberland City K-9 officer to respond to the scene. A probable cause search was conducted and several items of CDS and CDS paraphernalia were located. The driver Lee Phillips, occupants Cory Bennett and Mark Smith were issued criminal citations.

Charge – CDS possession not cannabis

Charge – Possession of CDS paraphernalia
Arrested – Mark Feodor Smith (57) Cumberland, MD
