An early morning fire damaged the Pilgrim’s Pride chicken processing plant in Moorefield. The plan employs about a thousand workers. Flames were visible when fire crews arrived on the scene. No injuries were reported. Fire crews extinguish the blaze shortly after 5:00AM. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
