Planned Power Outage Set For Thursday

Potomac Edison has scheduled an electric service interruption for the Ridgeville, Antioch and Martin areas in Mineral and Grant Counties, West Virginia on Thursday, Dec. 17.  Potomac Edison regrets the inconvenience, but the work to upgrade our facilities is necessary to ensure service reliability in the area. The outage will occur from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., allowing crews to continue a large project to replace wires, poles, cross arms and insulators along Cutoff Road between Route 220 and Route 50.  The outage will affect approximately 970 customers.

No schools will be affected by the outage.  Potomac Edison will attempt to contact affected customers by phone prior to the outage. Customers with questions about the planned outage can call Potomac Edison’s Customer Service at 1-800-686-0011.
