On 04/06/14 at 1:55pm Officers with the Cumberland Police Dept responded to a business located in the 700 block of Park St in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Upon arrival Officers contacted store employees who stated that they observed a female subject place items into a grocery cart and later leave the store without attempting to pay for the items. As a result, 33 year old Rhonda Walker of Cumberland was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Dept where she was issued a Criminal Citation for theft under $1000 and released pending trial in District Court.
On 04/06/14 Officer’s with the Cumberland Police Dept responded to the 300blk of Helen St for a reported Destruction of Property complaint. Upon arrival it was learned that an unknown subject had threw a brick through the windshield of a parked and unoccupied BMW. There are no suspects at this time.
