The Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Alex McDonald, age 30, of Cumberland, MD. The arrest warrant was issued by the Allegany County District Court. The investigation was conducted by the Cumberland Police on May 16, 2022 and a suspect was identified. Through the investigation it was learned that Alex McDonald unlawfully entered a residence on Washington Street, Cumberland Maryland. McDonald unlawfully entered the residence to commit a theft of a dog. McDonald gained access to the house by removing an air conditioning unit and entered through a window. He was taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance with the District Court Commissioner. He was held without bond.
