Police spend holiday weekend serving Warrants

On Sunday, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Aaron Gardipee.  The warrant stemmed from Gardipee  making numerous false emergency calls for emergency services since May 27, 2022.  A Cumberland police officer applied for charges against Gardipee at the District Court of Allegany County and a warrant was issued.  Gardipee was arrested and transported to Central Booking.  He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.

CHARGES:  False Alarm/Ambulance Cause, Reckless Endangerment

 

BENCH WARRANTS SERVED

 

On Sunday, May 29, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served three bench warrants on Katelin Moorehead.  The warrants were issued as a result of Moorehead failing to appear for her court cases at the District Court of Allegany County.  Moorehead was originally charged with Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace: Hinder Passage, Intoxicated Endanger.  She was arrested and transported to Central Booking.  She was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on three $1,000 bonds.

BENCH WARRANT SERVED

 

On Sunday, May 29, 2022, the Cumberland Police Department served a Circuit Court bench warrant on Jeremy Thomas.  The warrant was issued as a result of Thomas violating his probation.  Thomas was originally charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.  He was arrested and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, held without bond.
