Temperatures are dropping, leaves are falling and those orange pumpkins are beginning to show up throughout the community which means the Pumpkin Patch express is on the rails. Wes Heinz, Executive Director of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad spoke with WCBC News about the Pumpkin Patch train and how tickets for the train have been lowered this year to encourage local families to climb aboard…
"You know they may struggle for different reasons throughout the year. We've changed our prices to reflect that. We actually dropped the prices this year so, we can encourage more families to come out but, you know make a day of it. Come out to the Pumpkin Patch, ride train and then experience Baltimore Street, experience everything that's down there around Canal Place. We have so many great things to do in Cumberland and that the railroad gets a server the catalyst for families coming into the Allegany County region area."
