On Friday, December 15th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police responded to a business on Queen City Dr for the report of a destruction of property. Upon arrival on scene, an employee of the business was contacted who advised officers that a male subject had thrown an object through the front window of the store. The male subject was still on scene and able to be identified. Security footage of the incident was then obtained which was able to verify the male subject was responsible for the damage. As a result, Nicholas Lee Craig, 31, of Cumberland Md, was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department for processing. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held on a temporary commitment
