Rocky Gap Casino Revenue Down Again

For Rocky Gap Casino, February saw another significant year-over-year decrease in revenue of 18.6% or almost one million dollars less than February of 2023.  January had a 36% drop from the year before for the local casino. Combined, Maryland’s six casinos were up slightly in February, with over $159 million in revenue from slot machines and table games during the month, an increase of 1.4% compared to last year. Casino gaming taxes to the state in February 2024 totaled just under $68 million, an increase of 1.3% over same period in 2023.  Contributions to the Education Trust Fund in February were $48.9 million.
