According to Allegany County Emergency Services, Rt 40 is closed in the narrows, pole & lines down.
The Cumberland Police Dept. would like to notify the public that the Narrows, US Route 40, will be closed for an extended period of time due to power lines down in the roadway. We ask that you seek an alternative route and avoid the area.
