Fraley top vote getter in Tuesday’s School Board Primary Election

June 2nd, 2020 by WCBC Radio

Tuesday was a good night for the incumbents on the Allegany County Board of Education as they claimed three of the top four spots- and will move on to the November General Election. There were nine school board candidates on the primary ballot with the top six advancing. Board president Tammy Fraley was the top vote getter; followed by incumbent Ed Root; Crystal Bender; incumbent David Bohn; Steve Lewis and Linda Widmyer.  The final official numbers won’t be known until the June 12th canvass.  Finishing out of the running, Tony Ottaviani; Michael Leptic and Deb Litman. Fraley told WCBC News she has established credibility with the voters during her three plus years on the board:

Widmyer says if she is elected to the board in November she will focus on a return to normalcy for students after having dealt with COVID-19 shutting down schools:

Ed Root said the next board has to be laser-focused on selecting the most-qualified permanent school superintendent:

All of these idiots, personalities, are trying to be the big fish in a small pond. Everyone is large and in charge. This problem will continue to fester as time progresses. Who cares about the students? Certainly none of these personalities, idiots.
