Sen. Manchin Engaged McConnell In Shouting Match Over Stimulus Bill

March 25th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

For over a week, the members of the United States Senate argued over how to disburse money to the American public. While both sides agree that the cash needs to get into the people’s hands, there are plenty of arguments over the nuances of the agreement. Mitch McConnell, in his role of Senate Majority Leader, oversaw the arguments from the floor and during the process, McConnell engaged in a shouting match with West Virginia Democrat, Joe Manchin, who accused him of caring more about Wall St. than American people. McConnell blamed Democrats for the funding bill’s failure to pass.  Manchin fired back accusing McConnell and some other Republicans of being more interested in Wall Street than Main Street-  placing the needs of major corporations over those of average citizens…

Rod Sterling reincarnated. Better read the stimulus package again, I must have missed the paragraph where Nancy requests 50 million to buy all 156 Twilight Zone episodes for her home movies.
