With its first round of funding completed, the Senator George Edwards Fund is now looking at a reorganization of its board. At the June meeting of the Fund, the sitting board members held their last discussions as a group.   A bill passed in the last session of the Maryland Legislature was introduced by Delegate Jason Buckel which revises the makeup of the board and the vetting and voting process for funding projects in Allegany, Garrett, and Washington counties.  Andrew Sargent, Senior Business Development Representative for the State of Maryland Commerce Department, is a member of the current board and explained some of the changes happening to the board’s makeup moving forward…
