On Saturday, March 30, 2024, officers of the Cumberland Police Department located Rachael Dolly in the 300 block of Seymour Street. Dolly was confirmed to have an active arrest warrant through West Virginia. When officers went to place Dolly under arrest, she began to fight the officers and pull away from them. Dolly caused injuries to two of the officers during the struggle. She was eventually taken into police custody and found to be in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia. Dolly was transported to Central Booking and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. She was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
