Allegany County Commissioner Jake Shade called the inaugural Technology at the Gap event a tremendous success with the opportunity to promote the region’s strengths and attract high tech business to the county. Western Maryland IT Center of Excellence presented the conference, which was attended by a crowd of about more than 150- made up of web developers, system administrators, network and security specialists, managers and others in or around the information technology industry.
