The Hampshire County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a person was shot in the Augusta area. The Cumberland Times News reports the incident happened about 6:40 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Mack Road and Saint Peters Lane, according to the sheriff's office. Mack Road is closed as the investigation continues.
