On Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, the Cumberland City Police responded to the downtown mall area for the report of a male sleeping in public. Upon arrival, officers located the male, Nicholas Lee Craig, 31, of Folkston GA. Craig was issued a Cumberland City Municipal Citation for sleeping in a public place and released, pending trial.
