Some Mineral County employees to get raises in the New Year

Raises are coming in the new year for some Mineral County workers. The Cumberland Times News reports officers of the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office will get a $2,000 raise in the new year after the county commission approved it during its Tuesday meeting. Last month, the commission also approved $2,000 raises for courthouse employees, excluding elected officials and County Coordinator Luke McKenzie.
