On Saturday, March 11th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police responded to a South Mechanic St business for the report of a disorderly subject. Once on scene, officers contacted an employee of the establishment who stated an intoxicated subject was being unruly and needed to leave the property. Officers contacted the subject and advised him to leave the property. The subject initially left the property as ordered, but returned only minutes later. As a result, Jared Armon Gore, 22, of Cumberland MD, was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters. He was issued Criminal Citations for trespassing and failing to obey a lawful order. He was then released, pending trial in District Court.
