One of the more obvious impacts of the Stay At Home orders in place in Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, is the inability of local churches and synagogues to hold traditional services in their buildings. That has put a damper on passing the collection plate, and that means many church have been facing a funding crunch. Boohoo! Those poor tax exempt churches are going broke! Separation of church and state should mean that they are not eligible for the PPP. How are they going to have any money to pay court settlements?

There are many more well deserving taxpaying small businesses that actually produce a product for the economy that should receive this money before the churches get their unholy hands on it.

Were do I start? First, show me in our constitution “separation of church and state”, ok you know nothing about our laws. Next just because you want nothing to do with God, so you get to decide who gets government money and who doesn’t? Personally my church doesn’t need any money from the government we are funded by the giving of our members (tax payers) and if a church can’t run on the giving of the members it goes out of business. Do you think that churches can’t run without tax exemption? If you don’t want anything to do with God you have bigger problems.

First Amendment of the United States Constitution states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof” and is paraphrased by Thomas Jefferson as the Separation of Church and State.

I am a religious individual and you have no rite to question my devotion, unless you can show me in the bible or whichever holy text you follow that gives you that rite. Okay you know nothing about religion or our laws.

Please identify your church and we will be sure that your church doesn’t receive any of this federal PPP money that it doesn’t need. Yes, I wholly think without the tax emption many churches would close their business doors. I also wholly believe that our government would be much better off if we were able to tax the property and income of those who claim religious exemptions.

I’ve shown you where in the United States Constitution it separates church and state, please provide the citation where you are able to judge and scrutinize other people’s religious beliefs and devotions.
