Still no resolution to the wrongful termination lawsuit that the late Lorelee Farrell and her husband Robert filed against the Allegany County Board of Education last year. Mrs. Farrell passed away last month following an extended illness- and the status of the legal action is now somewhat unclear. The civil lawsuit, brought against the school board May 18, is for alleged wrongful termination of employment surrounding both Farrell’s separation of employment from the school system. Lorelee Farrell worked for the school system for 17 years as health supervisor. Robert Farrell was coordinator of safety, security and risk management. Lorelee Farrell was transferred before retiring while Robert Farrell's post was eliminated. WCBC News talked with Robert Farrell and he said that there isn’t much he can say about the litigation other than he is represented by attorney (Gorman) Mike Getty and the case will be tried in federal court…
