The Cumberland Police Department would like to make the public aware of a street closure to accommodate the National Night Out event taking place on Tuesday, August 02, 2016. Somerville Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic at East First Street and East Fourth Street on Tuesday, August 02, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. until approximately 9:00 p.m. Parking will be prohibited beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Somerville Avenue the day of the event until approximately 9:00 p.m. No parking signs will be placed along Somerville Avenue with designated times displayed. A portion of East Second Street which runs between Memorial Avenue and Somerville Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic.
