Baltimore County Senator Charles Sydnor, took to the Senate floor in Annapolis, commenting on racist remarks being made across the country, equating the Francis Scott Key Bridge to collapse with diversity, equity and inclusion in politics.
Sydnor pointed to remarks saying that black Port of Baltimore commissioners “lack knowledge,” and that the collapse was the result of “governors who prioritize diversity over the well-being and security of citizens.”…
