From April 10-16 is Maryland Severe Storms Awareness Week. The Maryland Department of Emergency Management and the National Weather Service are urging residents to be aware of the most common spring weather hazards and how to prepare for and protect against them. On Wednesday, April 12, the Great Maryland Twister Test tornado drill will begin around 10AM. WCBC will also be testing our Emergency Alert System and encourages listeners to test your family or business emergency plan.
