Former University of Maryland and Fort Hill standout running back Ty Johnson has signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, according to reporting by ESPN. Johnson was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round of the 2019 draft, but spent the last three seasons with the New York Jets. The Jets cut Johnson in April after he suffered an injury during an off-season workout. According to reports, Johnson has been medically cleared to play and may see action in the Bills upcoming preseason game against the Chicago Bears on Saturday.
