Law Enforcement continue to piece together the events leading to the fatal shooting of a 17 year old male and injuring three others in Cumberland Saturday. A number of individuals from out of town were detained for questioning immediately after the tragic event. A suspect remains in custody as charges are pending. Detectives with the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit canvas the area taking statements and gathering video footage as they piece together a timeline leading to the shooting. Sources tell WCBC news a party Friday night permitting underage drinking at a local bar spilled into the streets of downtown Cumberland after closing. Investigators are looking at whether an altercation during this party led to the shooting that involves individuals from Baltimore City. This incident occurred in a crowded area with many potential witnesses.
