***Adult Arrest***
On Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, The Cumberland City Police responded to the area of Interstate 68 near Willowbrook Rd for the initial report of a single vehicle crash. Once on scene, officers made contact with the two occupants of the vehicle. Officers learned that an argument had begun inside the vehicle while traveling to its destination. The argument then turned physical inside the vehicle with the driver being assaulted by the passenger. The altercation caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and become disabled. As a result of the investigation, Blaine Nehron Powell, 57, of McClellandtown PA, was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was released on his own recognizance.
