On Tuesday, January 10th, 2023, The Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Victoria Marie Quick, 33, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to an investigation completed by Cumberland City Police School Resource Officers regarding incidents that occurred on December 22nd, 2022, in the area of Columbia St, and January 5th, 2023, in the area of Franklin St. During both of these incidents, it is alleged that Quick intentionally transported a juvenile to those locations for the sole purpose of engaging in assaults with other juveniles. It was also discovered that Quick used a vehicle to block the roadway during one of the incidents in order to increase the police’s response time. Charges were filed on Quick as a result of the investigation and a Criminal Summons issued by the District Court of Allegany County. Quick was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.
