A Veterans Day program will be held Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. at Central Assembly of God, 2020 Bedford St. David Hill will sing the national anthem and Kathy Wampler also will perform. The speaker will be Dave Roever, a military veteran and Purple Heart recipient…
The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Cumberland Area National Day of Prayer Committee in conjunction with Central Assembly. Each veteran in attendance will be honored and presented with a specially minted coin. A free will offering will be collected.
